Cannabinoids

examples of use in industries

Cannabinoids are naturally occurring compounds found in the Cannabis sativa plant. Of about 500 different compounds present in the plant, only around 70 are termed cannabinoids. The most abundant of the cannabinoids is CBD (Cannabidiol), which has become a common ingredient in various skin care products, food and vitamin supplements, as well as health and wellness related products. Latest research suggests that pharmaceutical ailments containing CBD may help relieve the pain and suffering caused by some chronic conditions. Same can be said about CBN (Cannabinol), CBG (Cannabigerols) and CBC (Cannabichromenes), that according to scientists also have anti-inflamatory and anti-bacterial properties.

We are currently researching and developing several products that harness the beneficial properties of CBD, CBN, CBG and CBC. We also provide our customers bulk quantities of high quality CBD, CBN and CBG isolates.

CBN

Cannabinol

Tetrahydrocannabinolic acid (THCA) is transformed into a non-psychoactive CBN cannabinoid by ageing and oxidation. Even though CBN was first isolated phytocannabinoid (late 1800’s), it hasn’t been researched as much as THC or CBD. But nevertheless, latest scientific studies strongly suggests that CBN provides many beneficial effects. It has anti-epileptic properties, works as a sedative and can help with sleeping dissorders.

CBG

Cannabigerols

A non-psychoactive cannabinoid, CBG’s antibacterial effects are well known. CBG is also thought to kill or slow bacterial growth, reduce inflammation, (particularly in its acidic CBGA form,) inhibit cell growth in tumor/cancer cells, and promote bone growth. According to studies, CBG is the only cannabinoid with the ability to stimulate the growth of new brain cells. It also acts as an antidepressant, it has antibiotic properties and provides pain relief.

CBC

Cannabichromenes

CBC is non-psychoactive and is the third most common cannabinoid found in cannabis. In some tropical cannabis strains, it can even exceed the CBD content. CBC is known to relieve pain, reduce inflammation, inhibit cell growth in tumor/cancer cells, and promote bone growth. The effects of CBC appear to be mediated through non-cannabinoid receptor interactions. It predominantly interacts on TRPV1 and TRPA1 receptors and has many properties that can have a positive effect on our health.
